As a family Sweetpea has been in our lives for 20 years starting in 2003. As the Jackson-Wilding family developed so did the company, with both daughter Abi and son Ed earning their pocket money by washing up or helping at events. Even grandparents Mac & Faye were involved in the process, helping to drop off our business lunches pretty much every day (When they weren’t touring Europe with their caravan that is…)
Starting off working from home. Then, in 2012 we made the move to our first ever kitchen unit on Bowden Hill, Lacock, spectacular views but it was very tricky when it was icy or snowy. When Ed wanted to ride to work, he had the big hill to cycle up. Here we catered for weddings, school lunches and business meetings. During this time, we had many highlights including being on the banks of the River Thames catering for an international kayaking festival or making food to be included in TV shows such as, Agatha Raisin.
In 2018 we made the big leap of moving into Hartham Park. Originally catering solely for the members on site. In 2021 we decided it was time to open the café. Finally, here we are today!
