About us

At Sweetpea we have a passion for food, attention to detail and an enthusiastic team. In every menu we like to add a creative twist to traditional flavours.

Sweetpea was established in 2003 by husband and wife team, Clive & Helen Jackson-Wilding, working from their kitchen at home. Things have moved on since then, first based on the outskirts of the historic village of Lacock, we now work from kitchens in the beautiful georgian manor house Hartham Park. From here our team of chefs provide catering for weddings, corporate events and social events across Wiltshire and the West Country.

Clive Jackson-Wilding
Clive has always had a deep love of cooking, whether cooking for his friends and family at home or at events such as weddings. Clive believes cooking is a science, except instead of chemicals you mix together ingredients and flavours, until you get what you desire. Outside of cooking Clive loves learning new skills and has recently completed a diploma in NLP, as well as one in Horticulture.

Helen Jackson-Wilding
After finishing her studies at Portsmouth University, Helen’s first job was a Medical Rep. Helen has always had a love of sales and makes up a vital part of the team here at Sweetpea. Both Clive & Helen form a unique partnership, in which Sweetpea thrives off. Outside of work Helen loves nothing better than taking their family golden Labrador Lilly out for long walks down the canal. Helen’s perfect day is going out for a long winter walk & coming home to a delicious home cooked meal to warm her up.

Ed Jackson-Wilding
Ed has always grown up around Sweetpea and feels it is a huge part of his life. Ed officially became part of Sweetpea when he started washing up in the kitchens as a little summer job. Ed has grown through the ranks here at Sweetpea and now makes up a key part of the management team. Outside of work Ed is a keen sportsman, spending his weekends surfing in his favourite place of Porthtowan.
